Things Are Changing

Happy Wednesday I hope everyone is enjoying today we are mid-week and only 2 days from Friday whoop whoop. A lot of you have been asking me about premium content and I know that’s been something you have been asking me and I knew I always wanted to have exclusive content so lets talk about it.

You’re probably thinking what’s premium content? Premium content would be something you would pay for as low as 2 dollars a month. Its an optional thing you would be getting more content like recipes, deeper conversations, maybe one on one discussions, zoom meetings with me to talk about life. More quality than what you get now.

What kind of recipes would you send? I would send 1-2 recipes on the month depending on what you guys would want. Desserts, game day food, Italian family recipes, Sunday dinner food. Just to name a few.

If I don’t pay for premium content will I still be able to access everything? Yes 1000% you will be seeing the content as now GracefullyGrace isn’t going anywhere if anything its growing the quality is just as good if you don’t pay for it but just know if you were to pay for it you are getting a lot more content.

Is it monthly or yearly subscription? Its both monthly would be like 2$ a month and maybe for the year 12$ still TBD

The Premium Content isn’t happening right now but it will be defiantly in the works as the blog grows content grows. I will talk more about it I want to hear your feedback

A little PSA if there is something you want to see, talk about, etc… please let me know I want this to be about you guys. I want to give you guys the best content there is. I will do my very best to make sure its affordable to everyone and its not going to be a ridiculous amount.

As my blog grows I might do a friend, Mentor, Executive content almost like silver, gold and platinum where the higher you are the more exclusive content and its more personal.

Friend- lowest price gets recipes and the basics 5$

Mentor- Gets the basics and more 10$

Executive – Gets basics + more with Mentor + Even more content 10$

Fall in New England

Happy Monday everyone it’s officially fall here in New England! I love this time of year from September-December and then January and February I dread. I love the fall-peeping, pumpkins on front porches, apple cider & donuts. The smell of Fall is in the air and the fires will be getting lit.

The weather is between 40 and 70 degrees with unexpected rain storms. I have been living in CT for my entire life and even though when I go to Maine the weather can change. There’s also this thing called heat and people don’t believe to turn the heat on until November 1.

Ok so clothes are clothes right? Sure but when you’re living in New England you think differently your thinking is it suppose to rain? What’s the weather suppose to be? Should I bring a sweater? Do I need my Bean Boots? A lot of different questions we ask ourselves.

My favorite way to dress in New England is to add LAYERS: t-shirt with a sweater and if you’re spending nights outside you will most likely need a coat. The best part of layering up is you can take off layers.

My go to boots are my LL Bean Boots these I have had for years and the quality is worth it you can wear them hiking, picking pumpkins, shopping or even out to dinner. They are a classic New England staple and every New Englander needs a pair. I live in mine from the beginning of October – the end of March

I love anything and everything plaid I even have a pair of plaid pants for Christmas this plaid scarf is my favorite its more of a Christmas scarf but you can get away with the plaid in the fall. Here is one similar from Amazon.

Another look that is a fall favorite of mine is a sweater with jeans and a pair of brown riding boots. I wear this look so many times it’s a traditional New England look and you can wear it out shopping, dinner, going to class, or just walking around town.

This is such a classic look here in New England I can’t find the link to my riding boots but here is one very similar and affordable. Linked here they are my favorite boots. This sweater is my absolute favorite sweater its from Vineyard Vines they have so many different colors the one I am wearing is this one. It’s a little pricey but worth it I bought it my freshman year of high school and I still have it and I continue to wear it.

Another outfit that can be a little fancier but is perfect for a shopping day or just taking in the weather is the same Vineyard Vines I linked above with these jeans. I love this vest but I can’t find the link so this one is very similar. My belt is Gucci but you can use whatever belt you want. My shoes are green booties but a tan bootie would be really nice or even a tall or short black boot to dress it up.

I hope that this few outfits will get you in the mood and excited for fall I am loving these outfits and as we get more into fall I will be posting more outfits for Thanksgiving, Super Bowl, Sunday dinners, soup nights with friend with a fire, anything else in between.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week and remember to stay blessed xx

Friday Q+A: All Things Blogging…

Happy Friday friends its finally starting to feel like fall and I can't be anymore excited. The BIG E is happening and I am so excited for all things fall and fairs. Have you put out your pumpkins, Mums, decorating for fall? I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and week remember to take some time for yourself. XX

1. What networking do you do that you feel helps your blogging business?

This was something that I didn’t want to talk about because I didn’t want to be judged or told I couldn’t do. I realized that they only way people will “find” me or know about it was to talk about it PROUDLY that I built this. I started doing Instagram lives, reaching out to brands, I had my friends go and “promote it”. Putting myself out there helps a lot for networking.

A lot of thought, planning & preparing. I do a lot of prepping the days I don’t post Tuesday’s, Thursdays, and Sundays its a lot of planning and I try to keep things consistent with content. There are days where I am working till 11:30pm to make sure its “perfect” when I have an 8:30 class the next day. I work between classes, homework I try to keep things fresh and new for you guys and me.

3. What is the best thing you can give to your followers, as a blogger? What do you think appeals to them the most based on your past experiences with this work?

4. If someone who is brand new was interested in becoming a blogger, what would be one or two things you would suggest to them?

I would suggest what do you want to talk about? What’s your passion? Who’s your audience? That would be my advice is start small with a niche and then expand from there.

5. What is an example of one particularly post you are proud of that you have written in the past?

A post that I am really proud of myself was this one and how to be intentional and what its like to have a purpose in life while being in college. Its important to know what you want in life.

6. What do you enjoy most about blogging?

The interactions that I get with people and the conversations I have all different brands, people, and how one little thing can change something.

7. What would you say is the greatest satisfaction of being a blogger?

The greatest satisfaction is that I am helping others or I had experience something and they said I am so thankful I am not alone. The community is wonderful and I am all about small businesses and women supporting women.

8. How can someone with a blog “stand out” from the rest of the crowd?

Be real and authentic because when your REAL people appreciate it and Be honest about how you truly feel about situations and use your voice. Know your truth stand in your truth.

9. How did you build a blogging routine that worked best for you, the content you were creating, and the audience it was being delivered to?

I was thoughtful of what content I wanted and I worked that into 3 days of the week. I wanted it to be fun, light but with a purpose and I wanted to be a place where I can be honest.

10. What do you find most frustrating about this type of work?

How much work it is and how I am always coming up with more content for weeks/months ahead and I am always “working” or spending 3+ hours editing, planning, learning but its the most rewarding thing in the world.

How to be ok being single…

I am always getting asked how you can you enjoy being single when people around you are dating? How to deal with it without "missing out on things" or getting upset? I know that this season isn't permanent and this won't be it forever but I am enjoying it here are some of my tips to help encourage you:

I am choosing to be single right now if I wanted to date I would. I know that I am praying long and hard to be with the man that God wants me to be with. I love being single right now, why you may ask? I love how I can FOCUS on myself and doing things for me and take care of me!

I know at some-point in my life I will no longer be single and I am not going to be able to do what I want when I want. I want to enjoy this season of life because I will never have it again.

As a Christian I am not suppose to date just to date so I am not actively seeking a guy. However that doesn’t mean that I can’t think that a guy is cute or wanting a relationship.

A lot of people who I know are dating and that’s ok I happy for them. I am choosing to really focus on my life school, work, life. I have turned guys down to focus on myself. I need to put myself first and be in a place where I can be in a relationship so I can give whoever the guy is my full attention without “running”.

So, if you are a single Christian woman and are called to singleness, got out of a bad relationship or are praying and waiting on the one, like I am but are still feeling discouraged, then take a look at these empowering and encouraging bible verses for you!

Here are 30 encouraging Bible Verses to encourage you in this season of life:

Goals For This Month…

I hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day weekend I know I did! What did you do this weekend? Were you out on the boat for the last time, BBQ, or simply taking in the nice weather? I celebrated my cousins 1st birthday went to Maine and took some time to plan out this months content.

Best sign in the world

No matter where you are in your life having something to look forward to on your calander is how to live instead of living paycheck to paycheck or assignment to assignment! We all have goals or something we want to achieve. Whether its a project at home where you want to get your garage cleaned out for the winter or have dinner on the table for 5pm for your family. We all tasks we want to accomplish for the week and month.

My goals are going to look different than yours and that’s OK!! Some are work based, personal, & school related.

My goals for this month is a lot more Fall Content = Baking, Projects, fall styles and doing fall things, I really want to show what Maine is all about in the Fall and the foliage that we have here in New England.

Something that I really want to talk about it this month is planning things out I love this this calendar I got it off Amazon linked here its the best its small fits with me everywhere I go I love to use it to keep track of assignments but I will put my personal stuff outside of school so I know what’s happening.

This month is getting crazier and crazier now that Fall is approaching! I am so excited for all things fall. I have some exciting things to share that are upcoming up but for right now its a secret shhhh 🤫🤫. A lot of you have been asking about “projects” and that’s something I definitely want to touch base on now I will be talking about it probably in the next couple blogs so stay tuned.

I want to talk about projects and how to “tackle them” I will be dedicating a place on here called projects so watch out for that tab.

Are there any topics specifically you want me to talk about in depth? Dating/relationships, recipes, workouts, maintaining a balance between school&blogging etc… ? I hope everyone enjoys this week and this beautiful weather while we still have it!! Remember to stay Graceful- XX

Friday Q&A: Talking all things Blog

Happy Friday y’all and happy first Friday of September! A lot of things are happening this month get ready cause its fall y’all but not yet it certainly feels like it though. What are some things you’re looking forward to this month is it pumpkin everything or apple everything? Sweater weather or shorts this month? I am happy to be back after 3 1/2 months of being away!! XX

1. What is the most helpful strategy that you’ve developed throughout the course of the pandemic in order to keep your spirits high, and stay as optimistic as possible? Is it a thought process, a certain activity, or remembering a piece of advice you were given by a family member or close friend?

I think the most helpful strategy that I’ve developed through the pandemic to keep my spirits high was spending less time watching the news I liked having my “bubble” of going to Maine and escaping the world. I did a lot of cooking/baking which became my therapy I was not only cooking for myself but for others and it became something I did everyday and if I was sitting in class bored I would bake while being in class. One of my mentors said to me was Control What You Can Control.

2. If you could share any piece of advice with a close friend about anything, what do you feel would be the most meaningful one to share with them?

This is a loaded question but if I am going to be honest it would be Live Laugh Love. I was in first grade and my Memere gave me a a 3 ring necklace that said Live Laugh Love and she told me I want you to Live every moment, I want you to Laugh through life, and I want you to Love life and everyone around you. In tough moments I just remember to tell myself those three words because we have a choice either give in or give up.

3. What would you consider to be your “escape” from the stresses of everyday life?

Honestly its Maine but I don’t get to go up there everyday. I really enjoy doing DIY projects or planting things. I am really enjoying writing letters to future self or even my future husband. I love the idea of taking time away from school, work, news anything going on social media. If you guys are interested I can talk about distressing and taking time for yourself and how do it with being intentional let me know?

4. It is said that everything in life happens for a reason, regardless of whether it was good or not. Would you agree or disagree with that?

Yes, I do agree with this I have always said I am a firm believer of everything happens for a reason because we grow through what we go through good or bad. We have a choice in life to either victimize and complain or we can look at the glass half full and say wow I did that. The choice is yours.

5. How did you get into blogging? What was your inspiration to start this work?

I got into blogging because of my ex I actually talk about it in an earlier post but if your knew here welcome I got into blogging because of my ex at the end of 2020. My inspiration was because a lot of you guys who follow me on Instagram saw me posting about Maine, cooking/baking, DIY projects and I thought I should help others who are curious about me. It’s the best job in the whole world.

6. What has been the most challenging moment in your blogging journey so far?

The most challenging thing right now is planning between content and school. A lot of people at first were not supportive and thought it was just a “faze” and proving yourself to brands and people who want to invest in you along with your content.

7. What has been the biggest difference in your life since starting a blog?

The biggest difference now is that my life is no longer really private which is something I’ve gotten used to however I choose this life. Its definitely weird when you guys tell me you read a blog post or saw me reference something from my blog.

8. What are some of your strengths that you would say have really helped you as a blogger?

There are a lot of strengths that have helped and I even developed more strengths as I have grown into a blogger. Some of the strengths are having a thick skin and not letting the little comments dictate my life, another strength is that you’re gonna have to put yourself out there and be ok with it. Understand that people are people we can’t change them.

9. How do you manage time to run your blog in a way that is efficient, and rewarding for both you, and your readers?

Plan, Plan & Plan is how I manage my blog efficiently so I am giving not only myself satisfaction but I am also being thoughtful about my readers and the content I’m talking about. I try to keep it short and sweet and to the point because I wanted to be more intentional about the content I am putting out.

10. What is the biggest self-improvement goal for yourself in the coming year.

This is such a good question because we all know I love my goals but for me this upcoming year would be focus on me and what I want. We get caught up into the social media world, friends, life, and focusing on my school. I want to make sure I am healthy and making everyday count.

How To Be Intentional 101….

Growing up I always loved the idea of wanting the “simple things in life.” Every year for my birthday or Christmas I begged both of my parents for chickens because my dads friend had them and I thought they were the best! I was brought up with a garden, being barefoot around the house and even outside! To this day I will still go barefoot even in the snow to get my mail!

I want to be intentional in almost every aspect of life and I feel like now that I am getting older the “stuff” doesn’t mean anything. I want to still live my preppy life but have a lot more simple. I am not only being intentional of my relationships but also my health and what goes in my body.

So you’re probably thinking how in the sam heck am I suppose to be intentional in my relationships.

For me it’s:

  • I’m not dating just to date I’m dating with intent of this most likely will be someone I marry I’m not here for the one night stands which to me equals to dating with a purpose.
  • Another way I want to be intentional is making most of my day= being present.
  • Taking meaningful single trips with Kendal
  • I’ve always cared about what goes in my body but even more doing more of the holistic approach of clean living and not using toxic makeup or knowing the ingredients and being able to pronounce them.
  • I’ve been recently listening to this couple’s podcast and there marriage is actually what I want and admire and try to incorporate what they do. There podcast is called Behind The Scenes Podcast with Jeremy and Audrey Roloff and they are people I admire as individuals and as a couple. I read their book Love Letter Life for people who are single, engaged, or married and that opened my eyes as a Christian.
  • I started being more intentional of who I date and I started making a folder on Evernote of Dear Future Husband and im writing letters to my future husband and when I am writing I’m praying to God on who that is.
  • If you know me you know I love Maine and I got 100 acres I am so happy with my garden, cows, chickens, 3 dogs, and being barefoot I am more content there then being all “dolled up”
  • I am also being more intentional about work= brands, blogging, creating my Etsy, and being an accountability coach along with knowing that I want to be a stay at home mom this is why what I’m doing now.
  • Doing a lot more things with family and knowing that at some-point the memories are the only things I have = no regrets
  • I’ve been living with no regrets since I’ve been gone I was in the moment= I couldn’t be on my phone
  • I am so thankful that I am able to be more intentional and be able to live a “simple life”
  • Do things for you= Journal thoughts, feelings, what you did today, what could have changed, what’s one thing God put on your heart?

Ask yourself these 5 questions:

What do you want more of in your life?

What do you want less of in your life?

What do you want to experience?

How do you want to feel?

What matters to you?

New School Year = New Beginnings

Happy back to school and happy fall even though its technically not fall yet I always put back to school as the beginning of fall! Today is the first day of sophomore year of college I finished my classes for the day and the first day is already in the books.

I want to talk about the start of a new school year whether your starting first day of high school, college or a new job or you’re heading back to school this applies to you. Set goals for yourself whether you struggle in math and you say I will strive for a B but I would like to get an A write it down where you see it everyday and repeat it to yourself.

After being gone for almost 3 months I have been thinking of what goals I want to set not only personal but work related too both with GFG and being an accountability coach as well.

I’ve talked about this before and I will continue to talk about it I’ve struggled with food, eating working out the whole 9 yards I would set goals fall off and it would be this vicious cycle I will sit here and be honest of what happened. Being in college doesn’t help either but working out and eating right makes a difference. After a whole year of college under my belt I have realized what I need to do to help me complete my goals for this semester.

A lot of you have asked me how I handled being away with my food and i’ll be honest it was not easy in some aspects I failed myself. I am taking this semester to get myself back and I have set goals and planning of what’s gonna happen.

When I was gone for work there was food everywhere everyday we had cookie line, treats, desserts, candy, donuts on the weekends, I would drink at least 3 cups of coffee a day with cream and sugar and I let “myself go” as they would say I didn’t realize what was happening until I got home! This was the first time in a long time I had 3 straight meals a day and I didn’t know what to do. I feel like I failed myself as I am writing this but that doesn’t mean I can’t do anything about it.

My goal for this semester is too:

  • Go back to the gym have a scheduled workout set a timer for myself for 30 minutes and plan each rep.
  • Do intermittent fasting I will explain this more later this week.
  • Eat right but don’t confined myself of only eating good “cheat meals are allowed once a week”
  • Journal/keep track of how I’m feeling, what I’ve noticed, any changes etc…
  • Remind myself this is not punishment, this is rewarding because of my goal
  • Don’t take comments personally
  • Go on a 30 minute walk 4 nights of the week
  • TURN MY PHONE OFF at 10 pm ( this is a big one)

I want to show that if I can do it you can DO IT! I will do Instagram lives to talk about food, working out, what it’s like to be an accountability coach and how you can do it. I want to assure you that YOU CAN DO THIS!!

2 Chronicles 15:7 - “But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded"

This is one of my favorite bible verses because when you are striving for a goal you have to be strong. There will be days where we will make excuses for ourselves however we need to remind ourselves we can’t give up or we will not achieve our goals.

First Day Of BeachBody

After a lot of prayers, conversations and guidance I have decided to become a BeachBody coach!! I wanted to become one because I have struggled with food, working out, thinking how society wants me to look. I have been on this rollercoaster for about 3 years or so. I have seen what it did to me not just physically but also mentally. I became a coach because I wanted to be able to relate to my clients and know where they sat I also sat. I am a firm believer of walk the walk talk the talk. I want to be that honest coach and knows how it feels for their clients.

I have struggled with all of the fad diets, working out, and it only lasting 6 weeks. I wanted something that I can maintain for the rest of my life and be HEALTHY. My goal is for me to have a healthy relationship with food and be healthy and can still eat Chick Fl A and not feel guilty about it. I feel so much better that I have a workout routine to follow and there is structure in my life.

I want to be HEALTHY whatever that looks like to you! God didn’t create me to be a size 2 I am not expecting me to be one however society expects that. There is one size fits all! I am so thankful that I have found something that makes me feel healthier and I am not alone in this!! I can’t wait to bring y’all on this adventure and see you updated!!! Remember YOU CAN DO THIS

Friday Q&A: Talking About Relationships part one.

Happy rainy and snowy Friday I can’t believe its snowing in April but again its New England nothing surprises me anymore!! I am almost done with school countdown is on! I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend. XX

If you know me you know I was in a horrible relationship at the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020. I have been asked by a lot of you how I knew it was bad, how did I get myself out of it. If I can be the person to tell you don’t make the same mistakes I did then my job is done. I wish someone told me at the moment I needed to get out. I am healed and I able to talk about it without emotion. We all have been in that bad relationship so I am thankful you guys asked how I got out of it.

1. How Long were you and you’re ex together ?

Thats a loaded answer we were together the first time, yes I said the first time from September 2019-December 2019. We were trying to get back together from March-July of 2020 and that didn’t work out. To answer your question we were together for a total of 6 months.

2. Did you know you were in a toxic relationship ?

In the beginning of the relationship I didn’t know I was until probably 2 months into it I started noticing signs.

3. What made you realize you were in a toxic relationship ?

I saw signs that weren’t normal and my friends and family who are super close to me kept making comments and things weren’t adding up.

4. How did you get yourself out of it ?

I got myself out of it through strength and prayer to be completely honest.

5. What bible verse did you clung onto during this time ?

I really clung onto Philippians 4:13-  I can do all this through him who gives me strength. This was what got me through the darkest time.

6. Was there a song that gave you clarity?

Yes there was a song that gave me clarity during this time it was Sara Evans A Little Bit Stronger I remember waking up to that song on 92.5 and just knowing that I needed to let go.

7. Did you ever think there was a way out ?

If I am being completely honest yes I knew there was a way out but I didn’t know what the way out was and I am a firm believer of everything happens for a reason.

8. How did you recover/heal ?

I started doing things for myself it was the small things. I started gaining my independence back, but I couldn’t have done it with my friends, family and God and prayer really helped me through.

9. What is one thing/quality you look for in a guy ?

One thing I look for in a guy would be humor and how he handles stressful situations because that says something about his character. A quality I look for in a guy is how strong his faith is and how he responds too hard things.

10. Are you scared to date again?

I’m not necessarily scared to date again. I just want to date with intent of marriage so guarding my heart is a huge thing for me.

Lets Talk About Encouraging Others…

Happy Tuesday Everyone!! I have been so busy with school and work and finishing out the semester! Only 4 weeks left but who’s counting at this point! I think we all need a little bit of Encouragement right now I know I do! I really want to talk about EncourageHer Clothing… I am someone who loves encouraging others and I want to talk about the real reason why I joined EncourageHer…
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? - Psalm 27:1

If you have been following me for awhile you know I love EncourageHer clothing. I want to talk about how important it is to encourage others and EncourageHer 😉 When my cousin was leaving for the military I knew I needed to be his encourager and be the strong one! We all know someone who is our encourager whether it’s a teammate, coach, mentor, friend, parent!!

I am so blessed that God gave a group of women who I can Encourage and they can Encourage me!! I’m the youngest promotHer for the brand I look at these ladies as my mentors and my sisters in Christ.

People ask me all the time you have a blog and you always talk about others and never yourself why is that? Truth be told its not for me its for YOU! I have always be the encourager for everyone I have friends that call me just so I can encourage them and tell them YOU CAN!! Being a Promother isn’t just me posting an Insta pic on my story and saying use my code, its more than just that its about supporting women and the fact that we all have the common ground of FAITH makes it so much better!! Your probably thinking this sounds good but why…

If I didn’t think I wanted to encourage others I wouldn’t have gone on a podcast to talk about a hard thing and talk about my eye!! Through this journey I have and will always remain Humble & Kind!! Lets talk about THE REAL REASON why I love EncourageHer…

First I love the Message I love how each shirt has a saying and there is a piece of encouragement wherever your going. Second I love how affordable the pieces are and the quality of them!! I also love how I get to Encourage others because its not always about ME!!! I love how EncourageHer is a big part of my life and I get to share it with YOU!!

When I first joined EncourageHer I was shy timid nervous scared etc… They Encouraged me to be myself and the moment I joined I have had the best conversations and I have had the opportunity to be encouraged and I will forever be grateful for this community!! Do yourself a favor and think about how YOU can encourage others & remember WALK BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT!! YOU CAN DO THIS I KNOW YOU CAN

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.- 1 Corinthians 16:13

Exciting Things Are Happening…

Happy Monday Everyone! It’s crazy to think that Easter is this week and you know that I am enjoying this weather!! I am so excited that I was offered to do a podcast for EncourageHer… If you have been following me from the beginning, then you know that I became a Brand Ambassador for the brand and you know what I am talking about! If you are new here then welcome I will tell you a little bit about this brand. EncourageHer is a faith based women athletic clothing company that encourages other women through quotes!

EncourageHer reached out to me to talk about a “Hard Thing” for the series “You Can Do Hard Things”, we all have dealt with and are continuing to deal with certain things whether its a nasty breakup, losing a family member/friend etc… I started thinking what I wanted to talk about I didn’t want to talk about your typical high school breakup or something that is only temporary. I wanted to talk about something that I continue to deal with till the day I die!

If you know me you know my right eye is slightly closed and surgeries have been in my vocabulary since I was three and I just had a recent procedure this past January! I wanted to talk about something that I continue to deal with day in and day out and I wanted to Encourage Others 😉. Nobody is perfect but my platform isn’t always about me its about Encouraging others and reminding you that Faith is Greater than Fear and I am so excited to be on this Podcast for EncourageHer!!

Check out my Instagram for when the Podcast goes live I hope everyone has a wonderful week and remember Encourage Each Other 🙂

I’m Back!!

Happy Monday everyone!! I know I’ve been a little MIA last week but thats college life and I am so happy its in the 60s today!! I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the Spring weather. A lot has been happening in my life and I needed to figure some stuff out but hey thats life right!

A lot of you have been asking me about life and how I keep myself motivated when there is warm weather and only 7 weeks left of the semester! Truth be told my grades keep me motivated and knowing that as soon as I finish I get to head North to Maine and spend time up there! As for the warm weather it motivates me because I can work outside and be in the sun!! We are at the half way mark and I am starting to count down the weeks and assignments as I am getting them turned in!! As for goals my goal for this week is go to the gym everyday and push myself a little harder each day!!

Pretty soon in the next 2 weeks fingers crossed depending on school and papers but if I get all of my work done then I will be heading to my happy place and be able to escape! I am so grateful to be able to have an escape for a few days and enjoy breathing in the fresh air and take in the sun!!!

Whatever your goals are for this week remember to dig deep and nothing is impossible!!

“Because of the brave, it’s the land of the free” from Ryan Weaver’s “That’s What America Means to Me.”

I am so excited to have a Country Music Artist & former Army Black Hawk Pilot on the blog! I want to introduce you to Mr. Ryan Weaver!

In 2018 Ryan released EP Celebrate America along with a very patriotic music video for the single “Never Forgotten” to honor America’s fallen Military, Law Enforcement and First Responders. He appeared twice on The Huckabee Show on TBN May 19, 2018 and August 18, 2018. Blake Shelton: 2008

Montgomery Gentry: 2007

Trace Adkins: 2007

George Jones: 2006

MLB (Kansas City Royals)AFL (Tampa Thunder) PIFLMultiple NCAA sports, including West Point Football, Vanderbilt Soccer and Baseball he sang the National Anthem at all of these events.

I really need to talk about Ryan Weaver and who he is as a person! Ryan is not like any other country artist in country music today. He grew up with a family of eleven in a small town in Floral City, Florida, he joined the Army right after high school. After several years of working as a Military Intelligence Analyst, he followed in the footsteps of his two older brothers, Steve and Aaron, by attending Warrant Officer Candidate School and flight school. He graduated top of his class in flight school, becoming a Black Hawk Aviator. In April 2003, he deployed to Baghdad International Airport in Iraq. Shortly after, one of his brothers, Aaron, was deployed just west of him in Fallujah.

On January 8, 2004 Ryan’s life will never be the same and his world turned upside down. His brother Aaron was killed in action when the Medivac helicopter he was a passenger in was shot down by enemy fire. Ryan certainly understood mortality and the risks of combat…  After all, Aaron had survived the bloody 1993 battle in Mogadishu, Somalia – the same battle that became the basis for the movie, Black Hawk Down. When Aaron died, however, something changed for Ryan. He returned from combat, taking a new position training the next generation of Army aviators and officers at Fort Rucker, Alabama. Ryan has not piloted a Black Hawk since that fateful day.

On December 17, 2013 Ryan’s brother-in-law, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Randy Billings, was killed in action in Afghanistan when the Black Hawk helicopter he was piloting was shot down by an enemy ground-detonated explosive device.  This second heartbreaking loss made the Weaver family a two-time Gold Star family. Both of his brothers’ ultimate sacrifices continue to fuel Ryan’s fire to accomplish his dreams in music.

In late 2016, Ryan released the music video for his single “Burn,” featuring Kris “Tanto” Paranto and John “Tig” Tiegen from the movie 13 Hours: Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. “Burn” aired nationwide on The Country Network and Heartland, and internationally at over 5,000 retailers, restaurants, and entertainment venues throughout the end of 2016 and beginning of 2017. Ryan’s first music video “Crank It” played nationally on ZUUS Country TV and TNN/Heartland Network and spent 8 weeks on their Top 10 Video Countdown – a network record. In 2017, Ryan was named the Patriotic Voice of the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) for their Celebrate AmericaCampaign.  The World Finals is the biggest global stage in professional bull riding – a booming sport now seen in more than 400 million homes worldwide. The Celebrate America Campaign is a season-long initiative that honors America’s heroes, inspires youth, and brings communities together.

Ryan made his debut in the primetime performance slot, which was previously held by Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler in 2016. At that time, the PBR officially launched Ryan as a PBR artist and debuted his new EP entitled Celebrate America.  Ryan worked closely with hit songwriter Wynn Varble on the Celebrate America EP, co-writing three of the four songs. He has toured the U.S. and internationally to Australia with the PBR in 2018 and 2019, performing his songs and singing the “National Anthem” at US events. He has several performances scheduled in Australia this year.

Ryan performed on the first single from the West Point Military Academy’s Benny Havens Band’s debut album Songs That Save Our Lives. The song was short-listed for GRAMMY Award consideration in the American Roots category. The album also featured Charlie Daniels.

(Did you want to say this twice?) Ryan released two singles in 2019 titled “ARRIVAL” and “Time Like This.” He is also conducting multiple motivational speaking engagements while promoting his partnerships with Lima Charlie Clothing Company, Lane Boots, Soledier Socks, Liberty Home Concealment and Forj’d America.

I don’t take a second of my freedom for granted because of Ryan’s family and plenty of other retired, active-duty fight for our freedom and freedom doesn’t come free. I have tons of family, friends who have served and I WILL ALWAYS SAY THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE! They give up so much so we can sleep at night and not have to worry! I am so excited and honored to have Mr. Ryan Weaver on here.

Before COVID I was volunteering at our veterans’ home once a month, I am an auxiliary member at the American Legion! My grandfather served World War 2 I have friends in Army, Marines, Cost Guard, all branches. My cousin is just finishing up basic training. I am so proud of them all. I never want YOU to take your freedom for granted because someone is sacrificing there life on the line, so you get to enjoy it. Remember nothing is free in this world everything comes with a price even YOUR FREEDOM!

I want to thank Ryan Weaver for being on this week’s blog! Please be on the lookout on my social media about us doing an Instagram live sometime this week!!!

Monday Motivation New Week and New Month!

Happy Monday everyone and the first day of March! How is everyone’s Monday going? Any goals you want to crush this week or month? I know I do! I am so excited there are so many exciting things happening here on the blog and in life.

If you have been following me for a while you know how much I love goals and crushing them! I am all about if you can believe you can YOU CAN! I want to talk about something that someone once said that has stuck with me for a while. Growing up and playing golf I could not putt for the life of me and I was always comfortable in everything else, my coach looked at me and said “Grace don’t be so 1 dimensional” I have always looked at my life like golf because its the only game closest to life. I never want to be 1D I want to be able to putt, chip, drive farther than yesterday and live outside my comfort zone!

Ok my little story time is over now but in all seriousness I want you to be able to grow outside your comfort zone. I was so scared to putt because I was horrible at it and one day I started 3 feet away from the hole and then when I was able to do that I went a little farther and a little farther until I CONFIDENTLY knew I was able to putt and not question myself.

I started at the gym again and I am loving it I am a little gym rat and I make time for it because its important to me! MY GOAL FOR YOU is take a sticky note a piece of paper whatever and I want you to write down one goal you have for this week! Along with writing 3 goals you want to accomplish for this month!
