Friday Q&A: Music, Dating, and Life

Happy Friday, my friends its nice and sunny here in CT. I hope you guys are having a good week. This week has been insanely busy from heading to Maine twice this week, seeing my grandparents and having friends over. I’m just over here finishing some last minute things for school and getting my semester ready. xx

1. What are you listening to for music now?

I listen to all different kinds of music, growing up I listened to a lot of country, 80s and 90s rock. As I have gotten older I have a wide range of taste of music it depends on my mood and what I’m doing. When I am working out I can only workout to either pop or rap. If I am cleaning my room or if I am in Maine its country. I am loving Morgan Wallen’s new album I have that on repeat I love Sam Hunt I am currently listening to Chasing you, More than My Hometown, 7 summers ago by Morgan Wallen. I love country so pretty much I am lovin all of the new music thats coming out right now.

2. When and Why did I fall in love with Maine ?

I started going to Maine when I was 2 months born it was the first time I went into a restaurant. Growing up it would be the three of us going to Maine for a week or a weekend. I have so many memories up there but I would probably say I fell in love with Maine when I was probably 5 or 6. I fell in love with the beauty and the peacefulness of the state but I fell in love with our property and I then started to love the state. I call our property Gods Country. Every-time I’m up to our property it reminds me of my grandpa. I love you Poppy!!

3. Do you plan on marrying a Catholic guy?

This is a loaded question! Short answer is Yes. God is in control of this and right now I am just focusing on myself and what I want to accomplish. I would prefer to marry a catholic guy but right now its all in Gods timing.

4. Why do I want to move to Maine?

I want to move to Maine because its so peaceful, people are nicer and I would be able to have my cows, chickens, my dogs and my horses. I want to be able to have the best of both worlds in the sense of beach and country and I don’t get that here in Connecticut. I want to be able to raise my kids in that environment and give them the knowledge of hard-work.

5. What am I ok with and musts when dating?

This is an interesting question because it changes daily and if you know me you know about my recent relationship in my senior year of high school and how that ended and after that I refocused and made a list of what were my must haves and what I’m ok on settling with. However my mentor suggested that I do this so anyone reading this I suggest you make a list of what you are looking for in a SO(significant other) (this list is from my previous relationship)

My musts:

  • has a job
  • Honest
  • family oriented
  • hardworking
  • smart
  • respects me and my opinions
  • Is good with my baby cousins and nieces
  • makes me laugh
  • Puts me first

What I’m ok with :

  • Someone who doesn’t need to go out every single night
  • Likes to travel
  • likes to cook
  • adventurous

* this all changes daily this is just some stuff as of now but this will change 🙂

6. How do you enjoy being single?

I love this question! We all have those days where it seems like everyone we know is in a relationship or getting engaged or even getting married and you feel discourage DON’T get discourage because your in this season of life for a reason and that person will come when your time is ready. I love being single because I get to do stuff for me and I get to grow and experience life. This is the first time in about a year where I’m not in a relationship and I can focus on what I need. Fun fact I started this Gracefullygrace when I broke up with my ex had I not broke up with him this would not be a thing. I started focusing on me and my goals and dreams. Enjoy this season of life because when you’re in a relationship you can’t have a single life so enjoy each season of life.

7. Do you plan on moving to Maine?

If you know me you know I love Maine and the answer is Yes I do plan on moving there full-time. I plan on moving there the summer I graduate which will be summer of 2024 but I will always have ties to Connecticut I will always visit because I still have family here but Maine will now be considered home.

8. What is your dream job?

I love this question my dream job would be owning a small business and having gracefullygrace make money. I would love to have a farm with horses, cows, pigs, chickens I would love to make money from the farm. I have always wanted to own a small business with something to do with fashion but its all in Gods timing.

9. Do you think it will be easier to move to Maine?

I think every move is hard in some way but I do think it will be easier because I know the town and the state and I know my neighbors. I already have friends up there and I actually will think its easier because I already have some stuff already there and I can add stuff. I am super excited to move up there and start my life as an adult.

10. Where do see yourself in 5-10 years?

In 5 years I’ll be 24/25 and in 10 years I’ll be 30/31. In 5 years I hope I am in a steady relationship traveling the world with my significant other and getting engaged to be getting married. In 10 years I hope to have a family and a couple of German Shepards and labs. I hope I am living in Maine. I still want to travel before having a family. I hope in 10 years I am owning my own business and living a life everyone dreams of. It’s all in Gods timing and what his plan for my life is.
