Happy Friday, its very windy and chilly today here in CT! A lot of exciting things happening on the blog and in my life. I hope everyone has a good weekend and I hope everyone is doing some exciting things. I will be studying and catching up on some shows! xx
1. What have you learned about yourself from starting your blog along with sharing your stories with people?
I have learned a lot about myself from starting GraceFullyGrace I learned that what you put into it you get out of it. I learned that not every post is going to be peoples favorites and thats ok. I have also learned that I’m not here to please everyone I can’t do that. I love sharing my stories with people thats how we learn and grow. I love showing everyone MY point of view I’m not here to change beliefs, I’m not here to change you. I am here to be only REAL and be HONEST.
2. How important is being passionate about something like this, to continuing this journey?
I have to be 100% passionate because its a labor of love! DO NOT get me wrong I love that I have this. However its a lot of work and it takes planning time management and most of all it takes LOVE and PASSION. I wouldn’t have this if it wasn’t for those two things. Its like anything else your gonna put your mind to something you enjoy rather than something you don’t.
3. What is one thing you want to have by the time you’re 25?
I am not one to put a time frame on anything I like to live in the moment and not take a moment for granted. If I had to choose by the time I was 25 would be in Maine living my best life.
4. What do you envision the future of this blog as being? How has this inspired you in your daily life?
I have envisioned this blog to be the place where you can escape and be a place where you can relate! I also want this is to be the place where I can talk about things that are meaningful in my life. I will I always choose the side of right whatever that looks like even if it isn’t cool or popular. I have always stride to be better than I was yesterday! This inspires me to be authentic and real even if I want to hide.
5. What is a piece of advice you’d give someone seeking to start on the same path you did?
It depends on the path but my biggest piece of advice would be BE YOU! I know that sounds so cliché but it’s true. I would rather surround myself with people who are honest and authentic and may not be so popular than be around people who are fake, mean and “the cool kids” I know people who are fake and all of that but I DON’T TRUST THEM! BE KIND everyone even if they aren’t kind to you. Everything I do I do with a smile on my face!
6. What is one thing you PRIDE yourself on?
I pride myself on a lot of stuff the one thing I really PRIDE myself on is I’m nice to everyone and everything I do I do with a smile on face! I can’t tell you how many times I have been stopped by teachers, strangers, friends saying thank you for smiling to me. To me that makes my day because one act of kindness can go a long way!
7. Every time I see your Instagram lives or photos you post you always have three rings on what are they? Do they represent anything?
If you have been following me for awhile and know me personally I wear 3 three rings and 5 bracelets and 1 necklace in total I wear 9 pieces of jewelry I do not take it off ever except surgeries I shower, sleep, swim, workout, demo work. You name it I do it in them. The 3 rings I wear one is an anchor ring I wear that one on my right ring finger, I wear my newest ring on my middle finger on my right hand and my button ring on my middle left hand. The meaning behind the anchor is for my poppy, the meaning behind my newest ring is there are two waves and they connect and it doesn’t matter which way you wear it because its the same I got it in Maine so it reminds me of the HOME! For my button ring my mom got it for me but no matter how hard you try to open it won’t open and you can inly see the front.
8. How has it been like for you to open up and put your self on the internet?
I have always been an open book on MOST things there are somethings I will not talk about because A its to painful B I don’t want it on the internet. However I get to choose what I put on the Internet and talk about. IF I was dating a guy I would not talk about him/post about him because its no ones business.
9. Will you ever post more about Maine?
YES 100% I plan on posting a lot this summer and I am so excited to share that adventure with y’all! STAY UP TO DATE on my social media.
10. Are you glad you created GraceFullyGrace?
100% I thank God every night that he has put certain people in my life for this journey and I get to be living my best life! I have connected with so many amazing small business, partnered with brand deals that I would never dream of! Stay tuned for tomorrows post a very special someone is joining the family of the blog!
