How to be ok being single…

I am always getting asked how you can you enjoy being single when people around you are dating? How to deal with it without "missing out on things" or getting upset? I know that this season isn't permanent and this won't be it forever but I am enjoying it here are some of my tips to help encourage you:

I am choosing to be single right now if I wanted to date I would. I know that I am praying long and hard to be with the man that God wants me to be with. I love being single right now, why you may ask? I love how I can FOCUS on myself and doing things for me and take care of me!

I know at some-point in my life I will no longer be single and I am not going to be able to do what I want when I want. I want to enjoy this season of life because I will never have it again.

As a Christian I am not suppose to date just to date so I am not actively seeking a guy. However that doesn’t mean that I can’t think that a guy is cute or wanting a relationship.

A lot of people who I know are dating and that’s ok I happy for them. I am choosing to really focus on my life school, work, life. I have turned guys down to focus on myself. I need to put myself first and be in a place where I can be in a relationship so I can give whoever the guy is my full attention without “running”.

So, if you are a single Christian woman and are called to singleness, got out of a bad relationship or are praying and waiting on the one, like I am but are still feeling discouraged, then take a look at these empowering and encouraging bible verses for you!
