Things to do in Maine during Christmas Time

Happy Second day of December I have rounded up 5 of my favorite things to do this holiday season in Maine. Which is my favorite place this is the most wonderful time of the year.

  1. Christmas Prelude in Kennebunkport ME

This year is the 40th anniversary of it The Kennebunkport Business Association hosts it. It’s from December 2 – 12. Each day there is something new. the entire town is decorated, the shops. I love it, it’s truly the most wonderful time of the year. You can check it out here Christmas Prelude.

2. L.L.Bean Northern Lights in Freeport ME

Being from New England and spending a lot of time in Maine. My bean boots are my go to, the fact that I get to go where the bean boot is like a dream. They have reindeer, hot coco, shopping, ice skating, curling demos, etc… each day there is something new. I love heading north especially for L.L. bean don’t forget to BeAnOutsider! 3. Christmas by the Sea Ogunquit ME

Welcoming the holiday season, they have tree lightings, concerts, craft shows, children’s activities, a parade, bonfire, fireworks, Santa and so much more. Events throughout town. Its a little more spread out so check the website here for the 2021 schedule.

4. Kennebunkport

I love walking around Kennebunkport, seeing the shops all decorated for Christmas, if you ever been to Newport Rhode Island for Christmas thats what it feels like.

5. Portland

Love going to Portland to see the old port and shopping but also love how they decorated the old port for Christmas.
